What a difference a day makes

Quick blog tonight, because I am pretty bushed.

Jan unfortunately could not visit the girls again today -- very frustrating. Hopefully, hopefully, hopefully tomorrow!!!

The girls were all doing spectacularly well tonight. They have all now exceeded their birth weights and both Caitlyn and Heather are close to topping 4 pounds.

Heather is still on 3L of room air through nasal prongs, but she is doing well (only 1 bradycardia today).

The girls were very interested in soothers today, so that it is a promising sign that we are moving towards bottle and/or breast feeding in the not too distant future. All in good time.

Jan's sister Cindy and I enjoyed cuddles with Caitlyn and Emily tonight. Heather's breathing apparatus is still a bit too tricky to make handling easy. All the girls were alert, wide-eyed and pretty interactive for most of our visit, so our timing was pretty exemplary. After feeds, they all settled into peaceful slumbers.

Speaking of which....

Cheers,
Jeremy
