Tomorrow is here?

All this time, we've been waiting to hear "they can come home tomorrow" -- well, today we heard this from the team!


Actually, Jer and I have been anticipating that Emily would be next out of the gate and in fact that may be how it plays out in the end. We all arrived at the hospital this morning, Jennifer as well to learn that the girls would both likely be able to come home tomorrow - Friday. This still is dependant on what the girls do over the next 12 + hours. They need to gain weight and be able to complete the major part of their bottle. No longer are they being held to the standard of finishing a full bottle but they need to show they can continue to gain weight regardless.


Emily has been doing quite well on her bottles; however, her weight dropped ever so slightly, so we'll see what the team decides tomorrow. Heather is a bit slow with her bottles and, in fact, I just spoke with the nurse looking after the girls and she required some tube feeding today. So, sadly she will not be making the journey home tomorrow - but maybe early next week - fingers crossed.


So -- Tomorrow could actually be real this time but we'll just have to see what is to unfold for us all....
